The role of the boat anchor:
1. Docking of ships
Riding at anchor is a common anchorage method. The boat anchor connected by the boat anchor chain or cable on the boat is thrown into the water to land, and it is lodged in the soil, and the gripping force generated by the anchor is consolidated with the bottom, and the ship is firmly tied to the predetermined position.
2. Avoid turning the boat around

3.Turn the boat by throwing a single anchor
When the boat needs to turn around in restricted waters, after controlling the ship speed, decide which anchor to prepare according to the turn direction (the turn direction is the same as the anchor direction).  When anchoring, the chain length should be determined according to the water depth, while observing the direction of the anchor chain, and completing operation with the rudder.
